OCR: BEST SUGAR COOKIES 1 CUP GRANULATED SUGAR 1 TEASPOON LEMON JUICE 1 CUP POWDERED SUGAR 4 % CUPS ALL PURPOSE FLOUR 2 STICKS BUTTER OR MARGARINE 1 TEASPOON SODA 1 CUP COOKING OIL 1 TEASPOON SALT 2 EGGS 1 TEASPOON CREAM OF TARTAR 1 TEASPOON VANILLA SOFTEN THE 2 STICKS OF BUTTER OR MARGARINE IN A LARGE MIXING BOWL. WITH AN ELECTRIC MIXER OR VIGOROUSLY BY HAND, CREAM THE BUTTER OR MARGARINE WITH THE 1 CUP OF GRANULATED SUGAR AND THE 1 CUP OF POWDERED SUGAR UNTIL LIGHT AND FLUFFY. ADD THE 1 CUP COOKING OIL AND CONTINUE TO CREAM THE MIXTURE. ADD THE 2 EGGS, 1 TEASPOON LEMON JUICE AND 1 TEASPOON VANILLA AND MIX UNTIL ALL INGREDIENTS ARE LIGHT AND FLUFFY. (Continued next page)
